Using the interface
Browse the main navigation to open maps, your character profile, communications, fleet controls, ship designs, colonies, research and the other stations available to your account.
On a phone, open Navigation to show the same menu. The Help page has a search box and subject directories. Use the tutorial for an introduction to the opening turns.
